Project cost control
Varian tracks actual spend against your BOQ, estimate or quote — line by line, project by project, in every currency you work in. The variance is there from the first invoice. Most teams just don't see it until the job is finished.

The problem
A budget is agreed once, then quietly contradicted a hundred times — a rate change here, an unallocated invoice there. By the time the spreadsheet is reconciled, the money is already spent.
One portfolio, many currencies
Each project keeps its own native currency as the record — nothing is ever rewritten. Switch the display to any of 166 currencies and the whole portfolio converts on the spot, citing the rate and the day it was published.
1 AED = 0.2723 USD · 1 KES = 0.007726 USD · rates of 25 Jul 2026
Built for who actually touches it
Five roles, enforced in the database itself rather than hidden in the interface — so a viewer cannot write, and one client's numbers can never reach another. Every approval, edit and reversal lands in an append-only audit trail.
Start from what you already have
Import CSV or Excel with column mapping, per-row validation and a single-click undo. Nothing is committed until every row is accounted for — and if the file was wrong, the whole import reverses atomically.
1 row needs a rate before this import can commit.
